Bedtime, wake time, time in bed, estimated sleep duration and awake periods form the structure of a report. They help a user understand when the night began and ended before interpreting scores or trends.
Add stages, vitals and events carefully
Light, deep and REM estimates add sleep-cycle context. Heart-rate and respiratory-rate trends describe supported overnight signals, while snoring and movement events add moments that may be useful for reflection. They should be labeled as wellness information, not diagnosis.
Data quality is also a metric
Installation, mattress construction, signal gaps, connectivity and shared-bed conditions can affect report completeness. Product teams should expose relevant quality states rather than silently turning partial data into a confident-looking result.
